Sobre o Franchising Brasil
O Franchising Brasil é um projeto de internacionalização das redes brasileiras de franquias realizado por meio de uma parceria entre a Associação Brasileira de Franchising (ABF) e da Agência Brasileira de Promoção de Exportações e Investimentos (Apex-Brasil).
Ao longo de 15 anos de trabalho, a entidade e os empresários participantes do projeto estiveram em mais de 40 países em todos os continentes, participando das mais importantes feiras do setor de franchising e de missões internacionais comerciais e de prospecção.
Sobre o World Franchise Council (WFC)
A Associação Brasileira de Franchising foi eleita à Presidência da Força-Tarefa (Task Force) do World Franchise Council (WFC), a entidade global do setor de franquias, composta por 43 países-membros. André Friedheim, ex-presidente da ABF e atualmente Membro do Conselho da ABF, foi o indicado como o representante da entidade brasileira que assume a posição na estrutura do
WFC. O mandato é de dois anos, renováveis por mais dois anos. A votação aconteceu no fim de maio de 2022, durante a reunião semestral do Conselho Mundial, que aconteceu em Buenos Aires, na Argentina.
Criado em 1994 e sediado na cidade de Abington (Inglaterra), o WFC atua com a missão de promover o crescimento do franchising internacionalmente e facilitar as melhores práticas de gestão das associações de franchising mundiais, além de fomentar a criação de associações do setor ao redor do mundo.

Sobre a FIAF – Federação Ibero-Americana de Franquias
A FIAF – Federação Ibero-Americana de Franquias foi constituída oficialmente no Brasil em dezembro de 2021. A iniciativa partiu das 12 associações de franquias dos países-membros que a compõe. Sediada no mesmo endereço da ABF – Associação Brasileira de Franchising, em São Paulo, a FIAF tem como propósito estudar, fomentar e desenvolver o franchising nas dez nações latino-americanas e na península ibérica – que envolve Portugal e Espanha.
Além disso, a FIAF promove o intercâmbio de informações de mercado e legais entre os países membros, sendo também difusora do Franchising íntegro incentivando a criação de código e comissões de ética entre as associações que a integram.
A FIAF é composta por 12 associações que representam oficialmente o franchising nos respectivos países-membros: Argentina – Asociación Argentina de Marcas y Franquicias; Brasil – Associação Brasileira de Franchising; Colômbia – Cámara Colombiana de Franquicias (COLFRANQUICIAS); Costa Rica – Centro Nacional de Franquicias Costa Rica; Espanha – Asociación Española de Franquiciadores; Guatemala – Asociación Guatemalteca de Franquicias; México – Asociación Mexicana de Franquicias; Paraguai – Asociación Paraguaya de Emprendedurismo y Franquicias (APEF– Paraguay); Peru – Cámara Peruana de Franquicias; Portugal – Associação Portuguesa de Franchise; Uruguai – Cámara Uruguaya de Franquicias, e Venezuela – Cámara Venezolana de Franquicias – Profranquicias.
