Terça da Serra, the Brazilian retirement home franchise, seals partnership with SMZTO Group

The SMZTO Group, a reference in the investment of franchises, has just announced its partnership with the Brazilian network of nursing homes Terça da Serra. Both brands are participants in the Franchising Brasil program.

The investment group founded by entrepreneur José Carlos Semenzato has ocuppied a seat on the brand’s board, which today has 36 nursing homes in Brazil. With this new partnership, the company seeks to accelerate the growth of the chain, and the initial goal is to have 75 units by 2021. For the next five years, the goal is to open up to 300 homes in the country.

Joyce Duarte, one of the founders of the brand, declared to be happy and proud with this society. “Our expectation is to enhance our expansion, focusing on quality, service and continuous improvement for our guests. It is so interesting that an investment fund believes and is looking at the market trend, invests with purpose and adds not only capital, but an extensive know-how in franchise management and governance”, completes the businesswoman.

In addition to Terça da Serra, the investment group also has in its portfolio brands such as Instituto Gourmet and Oakberry, which is also a member of Franchising Brasil. The company’s forecast for 2021 is to raise about R$ 300 million, both to bring more networks for the group and to increase the amounts allocated to each one.
