The traditional Brazilian perfume brand Água de Cheiro, in the market since 1976 and participant in the Franchising Brasil project since 2019, has a new partnership that will increase its sales in the coming months. Now, the company will have in its catalog products from Maybelline NY, from the manufacturer L’Oreal, in its more than 140 physical stores, in addition to e-commerce.
Água de Cheiro’s goal in this new partnership is to increase its store flow by 20% – the expectation for an increase in sales is 15%.
In an interview with publication Exame, the brand’s director, Olindo Caverzan Júnior, states that the current idea is to leave the traditional behind and transform the company into a strong point of beauty consumption, in addition to its perfumes. “That said, we believe that Maybelline NY is going to meet this expectation”, completes the executive.
Olindo also states that the goal is to have Maybelline as the flagship in the company’s makeup sector, which has other partnerships with names like Antonio Banderas, Benetton, Shakira, Everlast, and Juliana Paes.
“We believe that this partnership will bring more people to the points of sale, starting from those who see in our brand a point of consumption of more than one beauty category”, concludes Caverzan.
