Sobrancelhas Design Group bets on expansion in Guatemala and Mexico for 2022

The Sobrancelhas Design Group, a participant in Franchising Brasil — the result of a partnership between the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) and Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF) —, continues to expand abroad. The brand is present in the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, El Salvador and Guatemala. In 2022, the chain intends to invest in technology, in the training of employees and franchisees, in the launch of new products under the SD MAKE•UP brand, and in the expansion of the Sobrancelhas Design and Eyebrow Design brands.

The network’s expansion strategy at the national level consists in opening new Sobrancelhas Design franchises in places according to market researches. On the international front, the chain plans to expand into foreign markets, highlighting the growth of Eyebrow Design in Latin America, with a focus on Guatemala and Mexico.

Even during the pandemic, the food and hygiene & beauty segments showed significant growth. Mário Ribeiro, head of international services at the Sobrancelhas Design Group, mentions that the brand overcame the difficulties and opened new units: “It was a period of many obstacles, but we intensified our online sales and strengthened the relationship with franchisees and customers with creativity and persistence. We had closed units, but we also had the opening of new stores”, he quotes.

Sobrancelhas Design is one of the largest eyebrow franchises in Brazil. The brand has an exclusive technique that goes beyond design and prioritizes the treatment and recovery of eyebrows. The SD group also has its own brand of products of excellence, with international quality: SD MAKE•UP and the SD Institute, the company’s social responsibility branch.
