Delegation of Brazilian companies generates more than US$6 million at Multi-Unit Franchising Conference 2024

The six Brazilian companies supported by the Franchising Brasil program that exhibited at the Multi-Unit Franchising Conference 2024 fair, held between March 19 and 22, reported a forecast of US$6.2 million between closed deals and expectations. They are: Boteco do Manolo & Marcelo, Casa do Construtor, Chilli Beans, Maria Pitanga, Oral Unic and Orthopride.

In addition to the franchisors supported by Franchising Brasil – an internationalization program in partnership between ABF and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) –, the ABF and MD delegation took more than 40 franchisees in search of knowledge and opportunities at the 23rd edition of the Multi-Unit Franchising Conference, which is one of the largest franchise industry conferences in the United States.

Before the official start of the event, the delegation met for an inaugural dinner which was attended by the president of the ABF Council, Cristina Franco (LocTok), the members of the Association Council, André Friedheim (Café do Ponto) and Juarez Leão (Leão Group), the director of Franchisees at ABF, Cristy Martins (The Body Shop), and the coordinator of the ABF Franchisees Commission, Leonardo Sobral (O Boticário, Levi’s, Hering, Quem Disse Berenice?).

The following day, Brazilian franchise representatives followed a schedule of technical visits to several local brands, providing a more detailed view of the American franchise market.

Bruno Amado, International Project Manager at ABF and Executive Manager of Franchising Brasil, highlighted that the results obtained by the Brazilian delegation in Las Vegas show the room for growth that the country has within the international market. “The success of the Brazilian delegation at the Multi-Unit Franchising Conference is a testimony to the international potential of the franchising market. This achievement not only demonstrates Brazil’s entrepreneurial capacity, but also highlights the global opportunities within this dynamic sector,” he said.
