Brazilian delegation expects more than US$1.7 million in business at Franchise Expo Paris 2024

The Brazilian delegation from the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF) was successful at Franchise Expo Paris 2024, one of the largest franchise fairs in the world. This year’s edition, which took place between March 16th and 18th, resulted in a business forecast of US$ 1.780 million, between closed and expectations for Brazilian companies supported by Franchising Brasil — the sector’s internationalization program carried out through a partnership between the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) and ABF.

Franchise Expo Paris is held annually and is an international fair that brings together franchisor companies and potential investors interested in entering the franchise market. This year, the fair brought together investors from more than 90 countries. The Brazilian delegation promoted the following franchisors: Adélia Mendonça, Amazone Açaí, Biomagistral, Casa do Construtor, Chilli Beans, Doutor Sofá, Kekala and Tropicool, in addition to Consultoria Central de Franquias e Negócios.

Brazilian representatives also visited the Brazilian Embassy in Paris to hold a meeting with the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in France. The group’s business agenda also included a visit to the Fauchon Paris chocolate chain operation and a trip to the Adopt – Les Halles cosmetics and perfumery chain store.

Bruno Amado, manager of International Projects at ABF and executive manager of Franchising Brasil, highlighted the importance of the fair for the franchise sector in Brazil, in addition to the results obtained: “the success of the Brazilian delegation at Franchise Expo Paris is a reflection of the potential of the Brazilian franchise market on a global scale”.

“Participating in this fair is a catalyst for the growth and development of the franchise sector in Brazil, connecting local investors to international networks and fostering innovation and collaboration in the market”, he concludes.
