Brazil is present at the Multi-Unit Franchising Conference 2024 with a delegation made up of six companies

The Multi-Unit Franchising Conference, held annually in Las Vegas, is scheduled to take place between March 19th and 22nd. In this edition, Brazil will be represented by brands participating in Franchising Brasil — a sector internationalization program carried out through a partnership between the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) and the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF) — Boteco do Manolo & Marcelo, Casa do Construtor, Chilli Beans, Maria Pitanga, Oral Unic and Orthopride.

The Multi-Unit Franchising Conference is recognized as one of the leading franchise industry conferences in the United States. It attracts thousands of franchisees, franchisors, investors and other industry professionals from around the world to discuss business trends, practices and opportunities. In addition to participating in the event, where they will have the chance to present their brands at an exclusive stand promoted by Franchising Brasil, Brazilian chains will also participate in a schedule of technical visits to local operations.

The latest edition of the Multi-Unit Franchising Conference, held between April 25th and 28th, 2023, generated more than USD 300 thousand for the delegation of Brazilian companies supported by Franchising Brasil. Representing Brazilian franchising, the brands Sobrancelhas Design, Hot n’ Tender and The Waffle King were present. In addition to presenting their chains at an exclusive stand, the executives participated in visits to local franchisors and workshops during the event.

For Bruno Amado, executive manager of Franchising Brasil, the participation of Brazilian franchises in the Multi-Unit Franchising Conference is a key piece in the expansion strategy of these brands in the American market. “This event offers a unique opportunity to establish valuable contacts, understand the nuances of the United States market, as well as showcase the potential of our franchises to investors and industry professionals. It’s an unmissable chance to strengthen our presence and increase the recognition of Brazilian brands in the competitive international franchising market”, he says.
