Franchising Brasil — a sector project carried out by means of a partnership between the Brazilian Association of Franchising (ABF) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) — announced today the brands that were given the seal in the second edition of the International Franchise Certificate awards event. Among the brands are Bibi Calçados, Chilli Beans, Quem Disse Berenice?, Ronaldo Academy and Morana. See the full list in the end of the text.
The purpose of the certificate is to recognize the chains that are more advanced in the internationalization process and involve professionals in international missions, business rounds, events and other initiatives. The trophies to the 52 award-winning brands will be given remotely. In comparison with the 2019 edition of the prize – the first one –, 20 new chains were awarded the seal.

The growth of brands that were given our seal shows that we have a strong team, which has been innovating and taking the Brazilian chains abroad in great style”, states Bruno Amado, executive manager of Franchising Brasil. “As always, we hope this recognition adds even more value to the image of the award-winning brands.”
Based on the classification of the ABF Seal of Excellence in Franchising, the International Franchise Certificate also divides the award-winning brands into the Full, Senior, Master and Mega categories. The segments of the enrolled brands were determined based on the number of units and on the countries where the chains are present.
