Franchising Brasil ends Latin America Roadshow after 65 meetings with sealed deals and closer ties between nations

The Latin America Roadshow took place in December, an edition that united the Andino Roadshow and the Mexico Roadshow, with a focus on Latin American investors. The action was organized by Franchising Brasil — the internationalization program of the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF) with the Brazilian Trade  and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) — and had the support of the Colombian Franchise Chamber (ColFranquicias), of the Chamber of Comercio de Santiago (CCS) and the Embassy of Brazil in Bogotá. The event took place remotely and aimed to foster business between Brazilian franchises and potential investors on the continent.

The action, which began on November 17, had an extensive program, including workshops, business rounds, and pitching sessions. In all, 46 companies participated in the initiative. The entrepreneurs held 65 meetings, 44 with investors from the Andean market and 21 from Mexico.

“The event was an excellent opportunity for investors from all over Latin America, who were able to discover the best that Brazil has to offer in the franchising sector. Even online, everyone who participated was able to do good business and even strengthen relations between Latin American nations”, says Bruno Amado, executive manager of Franchising Brasil. “For 2022, with the resumption of in-person meetings, we expect even more positive balances”, he concludes.
