ABF opened this morning its Post-NRF, which filled the auditorium Santander in São Paulo. The event was broadcast online through the Association’s website and Facebook.

The welcome greeting was given by the president of ABF, Altino Cristofoletti Junior, who highlighted the relevance of being at the convention of the National Retail Federation, entity representative of retail in the United States. “Participating in the ABF-NRF mission is not only content, there is a lot of networking, learning and exchange of experiences,” he says. Cristofoletti noted that the biggest event of the world retail attracted this year about 2 thousand Brazilians, the largest foreign delegation present to the NRF.

The first insights were presented by Jae Ho Lee, director of Marketing and Communication at ABF. In the executive’s view, the strong presence of Brazilians at the NRF convention in New York demonstrates the increased confidence of the national businessman.

Lee highlighted his vision as a franchisor. For him, not all US retail trends are applicable to the Brazilian market, it needs to be tropicalized, and technologies are indispensable for business growth.
