International mission from ABF goes to the 2017 NRA Show

The Brazilian delegation will attend the biggest event of the food industry worldwide, in addition to making guided visits to the show and technical visits to big US chains

The ABF Group set for the 2017 NRA Show

In another international mission in the year, ABF attends the 2017 NRA Show, the biggest food event worldwide, in Chicago (Illinois, US). Held from May 17th to 24th, the mission included the curatorship and participation of the entity’s present, Altino Cristofoletti Junior; André Friedheim, international director; João Baptista Junior, coordinator of the Food Service Committee; Julio Monteiro, tax adviser of ABF Rio and Simone Galante, director of Galunion Consultoria; in addition to Adriana Auriemo, director of new formats and relations, Bruno Amado, international manager of ABF and Renato Sabaine, expert in business development from the US Consulate in Brazil.

The opening meeting of the ABF Group’s works was held this Thursday (18th). In addition to attending a series of lectures, followed by meetings to analyze the content seen at the end of each day (wrap-ups), the Brazilian delegation will make guided visits to the show and concept technical visits to some of the main food chains of the United States, networking meetings, among other activities. The first technical visit is next Friday to know in details McDonald’s operation.

Held annually by the National Restaurant Association (representative of the US food service segment), the NRA Show presents the main novelties, information and trends of the segment. In 2016, the event’s exhibition sector received over 63,000 registrations, coming from more than 100 countries.

Data, information, novelties, trends and insights obtained by the Brazilian delegation at the event will be presented at the Post-NRA Show, which opens the Franchising Week, on June 19th, at Expo Center Norte, in Sao Paulo. Register!
