Brazilian franchises prospect more than USD 1 million in new business at Franchise Expo Paris 2023

The most recent edition of Franchise Expo Paris, which took place between March 19th and 22nd, resulted USD 1,380,000.00 in expected new business for the next 12 months for the delegation of companies supported by Franchising Brasil — the result of a partnership between the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) and the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF).

The following franchises attended the trade mission: Amazone Açaí, BiomagistralEmporium da Beleza, Global Franchise, Lug’s, MFD Foods, School of Rock, Hospital Popular Veterinário and The Waffle King. In addition to participating in the event, the brands also carried out an extensive business agenda, which included a meeting with the French Federation of Franchises, a meeting at the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in France and technical visits to the local franchises Jeff de Bruges and Guinot – Mary Cohr.

“Franchise Expo Paris is an opportunity to show that Brazilian franchising has a lot to offer for this sector worldwide”, says Bruno Amado, executive manager of Franchising Brasil. “The results obtained in this edition demonstrate the confidence of investors in our brands and in the competitive advantages that only Brazilian identity and culture are able to offer”, concludes Bruno.

For the CEO of Global Franchise, Paulo César Mauro, Franchise Expo Paris “is a spectacular fair, the largest franchise fair in Europe, one of the largest in the world and we have the opportunity to see very interesting concepts that, very soon, will be in several countries, including Brazil. We also bring opportunities for Brazilian franchises with a very strong and mature market, with the right conditions to compete with any franchise in the world”.

Every year Franchise Expo Paris gathers franchising companies and potential investors from all around the world to learn about business opportunities and participate in lectures, workshops and other activities related to franchising. In 2022, fifteen Brazilian brands attended the event and held business roundtables and meetings with investors that resulted in USD 340 thousand in new business and 95 new commercial contacts.
