Present in 44 Brazilian cities and six times winner of the Seal of Excellence in Franchising awarded by ABF (Brazilian Association of Franchising), the Inspirar Group celebrates its 25th anniversary by starting its international expansion. The franchise chain opened this first semester of 2021 its first unit in Portugal.
Faculdade Inspirar is a member of Franchising Brasil — a sector project for the internationalization of Brazilian franchise brands carried out by means of a partnership between the Brazilian Association of Franchising (ABF) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).
Founded in 2008, the franchise chain began as a health-focused educational institution, but now it also offers law and business administration courses. In Brazil, the company has units in 44 cities and became an e-learning business role model during the pandemic.
Ricardo Carneiro, franchising vice president for the Group, states that the company is taking its first steps in international expansion. “We are going to offer and acquire knowledge. Faculdade Inspirar is starting expanding in Portugal, but the rest of Europe and Latin America are also in our plans”, says Carneiro.
According to Caroline Taraszczuk Eberhardt, partner of the franchise in Portugal, that country was chosen because of its strong connection with Brazil.
The company was on the Portugal 2019 Internationalization Mission, with the support of Franchising Brasil, and had the opportunity to get to know the market. There, the executives also had meetings with local businessmen and an overview of the Portuguese market.
In Portugal, the Inspirar Institute is going to share the Brazilian experience in physical therapy with European students. Last March the unit started the Physical Therapy in ICU course. For further information, click here.
