Brazilian franchise Café du Centre is chosen as one of the favorite coffee shops in Canada

A project developed by two sisters from the state of Santa Catarina, in the South of Brazil, Café du Centre is an attempt of combining Brazilian coffee with a French atmosphere. In August 2018 the Brazilian franchise arrived in Canada, opening one unit in Calgary, which now is deemed as one of the best coffee shops in the city.

Café du Centre is a member of Franchising Brasil — a sector project for the internationalization of Brazilian franchise brands carried out by means of a partnership between the Brazilian Association of Franchising (ABF) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). Founded in 2014, the coffee shop started its expansion project in the following year and joined the world of franchise. Today, Café du Centre has 12 units in Brazil and is about to start operating in England.

The Best Calgary, an important website posting reviews of services offered in the Canadian city, has chosen the franchise as one of the seven best coffee shops in the area. Highlighting the ambience and design of the shop, the website informs that Café du Centre offers the best high tea in Calgary and makes customers feel like they are in a Parisian cafe. And the review states: “Café du Centre has an assortment of teas and desserts made from locally-sourced ingredients. […] If you want to enjoy high tea with your loved ones, you can even rent the café’s premises for your private events”.

Besides the Brazilian coffee, the shop also offers many types of sophisticated desserts inspired in major French patisseries.
