ABF and AEF sign agreement to encourage trading between Brazil and Spain

On September 1, André Friedheim, president of the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF), and Eduardo Abadía González, president of the Asociación Española de Franquiciadores (AEF), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The objective of the document is to facilitate business promotion initiatives between Spanish companies and Brazilian franchises and to strengthen the ties between the nations. Future collaborative actions aim to multiply the possibilities of entrepreneurs from both countries in international events, training, and business missions.

Natan Baril, international director of ABF, believes that this is an excellent time to invest in these international diplomatic relations: “The partnerships we have signed so far represent a further step towards commercial success in the coming years. This agreement with the AEF has everything to yield great results. ”

“AEF was founded in 1993 and represents a straight business and investment bridge between Brazil and Spain”, comments André. The president explains that signing this agreement is a real achievement for the Brazilian franchising sector.

“Spain represents a huge range of opportunities for our brands. The agreement comes to create an express way for communication with investors, and to support Brazilian franchises in every possible way during approaches and negotiations”, concludes André Friedheim.
