FIAF promotes webinar on regulations and the legal framework for franchises in Ibero-America

On February 9th, the Ibero-American Franchise Federation (FIAF) promoted a webinar on regulations and the legal framework for franchising in Ibero-America. The conversation brought together representatives of important institutions in the franchising sector and addressed relevant topics for those who wish to internationalize their franchises.

The virtual event was attended by Natan Baril, international director of the Brazilian Franchising Association (ABF), José Fernández, FIAF’s executive director and Guatemalan Franchise Association’s (AGF) general secretary, and Luis Felipe Jaramillo, Vice President of the Colombian Franchisees Chamber (Colfranquicias). The program was also moderated by FIAF’s general secretary, Gabriel Grasiuso, and the legal director of the same federation, Cavaleiro Machado.

“Whoever wants to expand their brand to the world, must prepare themselves by organizing the process and the procedures of the franchise regulations abroad”, points out Natan. The director explained about the new 2019 franchise law and also addressed several topics of interest to Ibero-American entrepreneurs, bringing insights and a detailed overview of the market.
